Our 1st date
Kolbe and Olga matched on a dating app months before, only to delete the apps before a 1st date. Months later we both were on the same app and as serendipity would have it, we matched again. After chatting about our shared interests of love for nature and music, they decided to meet for a first date.

Meeting at Bakes Bistro in Bellevue, to our pleasant surprise we were greeted with live music. Immediately we clicked, talking about our deepest aspirations, fears, and joys. After lots of talking, some good food, and great drinks; Olga asked Kolbe if he wanted to go get ice cream at Molly Moons (if you know, you know). Oh and did we ment

We went back to Olga's car with our ice cream, where she played "Special Needs" by Placebo. A few moments later we had our first kiss and the rest as they say, was history.

Not long after it was clear this was something extraordinary and we were falling in love. Kolbe pitched this crazy idea to move to Spokane while we build a house in Sandpoint Idaho. Not long after it was clear this was something extraordinary and we were falling in love. Kolbe pitched this crazy idea to move to Spokane while we build a house in Sandpoint Idaho. It was a big decision, but one Olga was happy to say yes to. Over the course of an extremely challenging year filled with ups (proposal at Whistler Thanksgiving weekend 2023) and downs (who knew building a house would be so hard?), our house was complete on Schweitzer Mountain. Our close bond with nature made it a no brainer for where to get married, on top of the mountain! We met with the events coordinator to start planning our dream wedding at Schweitzer.
